Workshops at our Christmas Fair 1st December

We are very exciting to announce some fantastic workshops taking place at our Christmas Craft Show at Battersea Arts Centre.

Screen Print a Tote Bag with Mr Wingate:

First up we have a fantastic screen printing workshop with Mr Wingate.
Sam has run workshops at lots of our fairs in the past and they are always popular. For this fair you will be able to make your own unique design and screen print it onto a tote bag.
Cost: £5 per bag
Time: 11am - 5pm


Sewing workshop inspired by the colourful bird life of Uganda with Awamu:

 

Join Awamu for an afternoon of festive fun and African themed creativity and crafting from 13.30.
You don’t need any previous experience or sewing skills, you follow simple patterns and they talk you through it!

All materials are included in the £10 fee and all the profit from the afternoon will go to awamu to give orphaned and vulnerable children in the slums of Kampala a special treat this Christmas.
You'll learn a bit about sewing and a bit about life and wildlife in Uganda.

Make a Christmas wreath and decorations using recycled materials with The Old School Club:

Make lovely Christmas decorations using recycled materials such as felted jumpers and blankets, buttons, ribbons, etc. You will also learn how to make simple embroidery stitches.  
You can also learn the basics of crochet and make Christmas decorations.
The three workshop options are: 

Christmas wreath : £20 (includes wreath and materials)
Christmas decorations with embroidery: £5
Crochet decorations: £8 (includes a 50gr ball and a hook).
Cost: £5-£20 depending on the project choice
Time: 2pm - 5pm

We Make London @ Camden Lock Night Market 29th Nov

We Make London are excited to announce that we will be at Camden Lock Night Market on Thursday 29th November from 5-10pm for an evening filled with shopping, music and workshops.


We Make London will be located in the Lower Market Hall are of the beautiful Victorian Camden Lock buildings with 18 stalls featuring work from some of the UK's most exciting designer-makers. Your evening of shopping will be accompanied by beautiful music from the Salvation Army and Camden Lock favourites Camden Guitars performing Christmas songs played in a Spanish style!


Public Transport: Camden Lock Market can be easily reached by Tube or Overground. Camden Town and Camden Road are the closest two stations.

Parking: Parking is available across the road for £12 per day. Parking is free around Camden from 6.30pm.
