Come and See us tomorrow!

Our Christmas fair at Chelsea Town hall is almost here.

We have an exciting fun packed day. The Furies Choir will be opening the event with some festive carols.

The main hall features The Make Lounge, our main sponsor who will be running a ‘Creation Station’ craft workshop, where you will be able to make some fantastic items if you are feeling creative!

We also have Eataly cafe, they will be serving tea, coffee, delicious hot and cold food and of course some yummy hand made cakes.

In the small hall we have Lady Luck Rules Ok launching ‘Speed Crafting’ if you want to make a perfect gift but don’t have much time, then this is the place to be.

Surrounding these are 80 unique sellers, with items ranging from jewellery to fine art, beauty products to limited editon prints, knitwear, children's treats, ceramics, hats and fashion.
If you looking to do your Christmas shopping this weekend then come along, you will find something for everyone. Or maybe you have your Christmas shopping all done and are just looking for a treat for yourself. Whatever the reason, you will have a fun day out.

Chelsea Town Hall, Kings Road, London Sw3 5EE 11am – 5pm Saturday 5th December

Little Chook Designer Feature

About LittleChook:

I originally trained as a Woven Textile Designer and worked as a designer for various Scottish woollen mills. After I had my first daughter in 2006 I set up littlechook to make gorgeous organic cotton clothing for babies and children.

Inspirations:

I love birds and animals and they inspire my flock prints. I spend alot of time in the park these days with my two girls feeding squirrels! Flock has a lovely texture which kids really seem to love. Anyone who has ever had a fuzzy felt set will know what I mean. I keep the hand cut shapes bold and graphic and use bright colours for my designs. Making them nice and appealing for children.

Best Sellers:

One of my best selling t shirts at the moment is the long sleeve shark t shirt. I think customers like ‘jaws’ as the design is a bit different and is great for boys and girls. One complaint I hear from alot of mum’s is there isn’t enough choice for boys!

We Make Christmas:

At We Make I will have a range of short and long sleeve t shirts with my signature flock prints but also a new range of bibs, hats and blankets featuring some new flock designs. I will also have an expanded range of mini kids bags which make perfect stockings fillers and are just the right size for carrying a few books or toys on the go.

Knit and Destroy Designer Feature

About Knit and Destroy:

I’m a tea lovin’ cake chompin’ knitaholic !!! I also love dancing around my house, cartwheeling , going to the seaside, playing with cats, talking, and food, I love food.

After 4 years at University I had acquired some skillz on the knitting machine and was itching to make something just cos I liked it, y’know?! I got a knitting machine for my birthday and started by making scarves and selling them through a friend’s stall in Manchester. It has just developed from there.

Inspirations:

I have always loved novelty things and when I realised I could knit a scarf that looks like a tape measure I was away. I make things that people who don’t “get it” like to go, Awww, they’re lovely for kids… The point is they ain’t for kids, they’re fun knits made for those of us who frequent children’s clothes departments shrieking, “Why don’t they do that in MY size?!”

Best Seller:

My best seller is my crayon scarf, it is something that everyone can relate to as we have all used crayons at some time in our lives! It was one of the first scarves I made so that’s part of why it’s a ‘signature piece’ also the fact that it represents what I do with knit, novelty stuff!!!

Another best seller is the bow scarf, I think the cuteness and simplicity of this design is what people like.

We Make Christmas:

I will be selling a wide range of knitted goodies, scarves, brooches, cushions to name a few... including some special festive knits for the occasion!
