Skettie Designer Feature

About Skettie:

I completed my Bachelor of Landscape Architecture in 2005 and worked for several years at a firm in Melbourne, Australia before moving to the UK earlier this year. Taking the opportunity to make a clean start and try something completely different, I took my inspiration from some pages of a 1950’s children’s annual that I had found in a pile in a charity shop and began designing a range of earrings handcrafted from the pages of recycled vintage books. The range has now expanded to include brooches and necklaces, and each piece is handmade by me and is totally unique.

Inspirations:

I am inspired by objects or images that have been neglected or forgotten and enjoy making them into objects that people will treasure again as wearable art.

Best Sellers:

My range of earrings come in two different sizes and in a zillion and three different designs. Each pair is unique and come with their own quirky image or pattern.

We Make London:

At the We Make Christmas Fair I will be stocking my usual variety of earrings, necklaces and brooches along with come special new designs which will make the perfect unique gift for your friends and family this Christmas.
