We Make London at Old Spitalfields Market

We are very excited to announce that we will be working with the fantastic team at Old Spitalfields Market.

We were very honoured to be invited to set up a We Make London area at not only there new Saturday market for 4 dates, that celebrates its first year this November, but we will also be part of the famous Sunday Market for 2 dates too.

About Old Spitalfileds Market:

Old Spitalfields Market is one of London’s finest Victorian market halls. Set in an historic location in the heart of the City and one of the crown jewels of East London.

Firmly established as the ‘must visit’ London attraction for Londoners and tourists alike, Old Spitalfields market offers a fusion of Victorian splendor and contemporary architecture. Bringing together some of the Capital’s finest restaurants, shops and an array of themed stall market days.

You can dine in style, browse through the antique market, buy unique designer clothes and relax with a glass of fine wine watching the hustle and bustle of the City pass you by. Easy to find, Old Spitalfields Market is a short walk from both Liverpool Street and Aldgate East stations.

It's Time for Christmas:

After a fantastic summer taking part in three of London’s amazing festivals, we are pleased to announce we have a jammed packed 3 months ahead with two events in October, three events in November and four events in December.
We will be announcing the dates and how to apply a few at a time once all the details are confirmed.
Here are the details of the first November date and the first December date.

Sunday 4th November Chelsea Town Hall: http://www.rbkc.gov.uk/venueschelsea/general/

After a break from Chelsea Town Hall last year we are very excited to be back.
This will be our 4th fair at Chelsea Town Hall. The town hall has a beautiful interior with original artwork sets a perfect scene for the highly talented designers that take part in our events.
For pictures of our previous Chelsea Town Hall events check

Saturday 1st December: Battersea Arts Centre: http://www.bac.org.uk/

After a successful event last year at BAC, we are back this year. Last year we took over the main hall at the side of the theatre, this year we are taking over the theatre itself. As you walk into the main entrance of the theatre there is a glorious staircase directly in front of you. We will have stalls all along the staircase, balconies and five rooms leading from the balcony.
The BAC’s cafe/bar area will be open all day as long as The Bee’s Knees creche and Buggy Park, making it a fantastic day out for all the family.

How to apply:

Please email us at wemakelondon@googlemail.com for an application pack for both Chelsea and Battersea Arts Centre.
Please indicate in the email if you want details of one fair or both.
The deadline for applications for Chelsea is 10th October  and for BAC 17th October.

Thanks Mary and the team

Just a few days to go!

We are all busy working away on the preparations for our area at this years Thames Festival.

Last year was such a great success for We Make designers that we have been asked to take part again this year.
We are extremely excited and honored to be offered a fantastic part of the festival.
We will be at Bernie Spain Gardens. This is a beautiful grassed area situated between the Oxo Tower and Gabriel's Wharf. For more details on the area please check here: http://www.southbanklondon.com/index.php?pid=3&aid=5
This is a great location and is ideally situated for the fireworks on the Sunday evening. It is one of the main parts of the festival.
There is a great programme for the area over the weekend including a stage with live music, a bar area, food area and much more making it a fantastic vibe for the weekend.
