Summer Fair Sponsors

We are pleased and excited to announce our sponsors for the summer fair.
Main Headline Sponsor:
Etsy:

Etsy will be our main headline sponsor for the fair. Etsy will be at the fair and helping to promote the whole event.
Founded in 2005 and based in Brooklyn, New York, Etsy is an online marketplace for buying and selling handmade goods. Their aim is to restore community to world's economies by reconnecting makers and buyers.
This year they opened their first office outside of the United States in Berlin, Germany, and have hired community supporters on the ground in London and Paris. In Etsy Labs Berlin, their German office, and throughout Europe, they will hold regular community gatherings, events, classes, and parties. More importantly, they will work closely with, support, and receive guidance from the artists of Europe as we fully internationalize Etsy.com, not just for them, but with them.

UkHandmade:

UkHandmade will also be at the fair.
UK Handmade is a design led online magazine committed to showcasing and promoting the best creative talent the UK has to offer. Artists and designers from across all of the art disciplines have a place here including photography, feltmaking, jewellery, fashion and art.
In a time when people are realising the importance of spending quality time with the family, small businesses are being started from the kitchen table and becoming an integral part of our overall lifestyle Uk Handmade wants to bring back the skills of our grandparents, grow vegetables with our children, to make do and mend and return to an ideology that previous generations took for granted.
But we they realists too; in order to live like this in today’s world we need to be financially self-sufficient. An increasing number of online selling venues are allowing makers and designers to sell their goods with very little set up costs and as a result handmade items are currently experiencing a renaissance.
The term 'handmade' is now an indicator of quality, care and professionalism that is second to none and something we at UK Handmade wish to encourage and celebrate.

Yelp:
Yelp will be also be at the fair.
Yelp is the fun and easy way to find, review and talk about what's great - and not so great, in your area.
With online reviews and weekly newsletters Yelp is a great way of finding out what is happening in your local area.
