Elin Thomas is a visual artist and jewellery maker who creates some of the most beautiful and unique pieces of jewellery.
Although primarily a painter, she has always created objects - from 3D graffiti art to fashion accessories. She adores making pieces which stretch both her creative imagination and making capabilities. A great deal of time goes into putting together the colours, creating contrast and the overall impact of each piece.
Elin’s approach to felt jewellery is to try to innovate in the field, ensuring her jewellery is both eye-catching and a talking point for the wearer. She gets a real buzz when people say “that’s amazing! How is it made? Where did you get it?”
Her attention to detail is the key to her success. She uses the best quality felt and findings available, and Elin ensures that everything possible is done to make the jewellery as durable as it can be. I smoked for 15 years, a packet of tobacco every day. It brought me to my knees.
