Come and Join in the Celebrations.

We are celebrating our 5th birthday during the day and evening on the 7th June 2013.

Join us during the day for our market, shop and craft activities. Then during the evening for a special Fashion Catwalk Show, music, live performances, food and drink. 

We are really excited to be celebrating our 5th birthday and what an amazing 5 years we have had and we hope to have many more.

We Make London's first event was in a little hall off of Covent Garden in June 2008.

Since then we have hosted events in stunning buildings including Chelsea Town Hall and Battersea Arts Centre. We have also been involved in some fantastic events like The Mayor's Thames Festival, The Cally Festival, Lollibop Festival and our most recent collaboration with the iconic Camden Lock Market.

Over the 5 years we have had the great pleasure of working with and showcasing hundreds of amazingly talented designer makers.

We have also made a lot of friends along the way too and to celebrate we would like you all to join us.

Here is the exciting things we have planned for you.

Daytime:

We will be setting up our twice monthly, handmade market in Middle Yard of Camden Lock Market, we will have some amazing designers showcasing. Check here for a full list of designers: http://wemakelondon.blogspot.co.uk/p/designers-showcasing-at-camden-lock-5th.html

The market will be open from 10AM - 6PM

Our Pop up Boutique at 53 Camden Lock Place, West Yard will also be open from 10am.

We will have some fun craft activities taking place throughout the market and the shop, including Lucky Dip crafting with Sannapanda and Craft Guerrilla.

Evening:

Here's where the fun really begins. After a quick change the We Make team will be ready to party in the West Yard.

We have a fun packed evening including hot food served by The Good Food Family , Mr Piadina and Dutch Pancakes.

We will have a special Fashion Catwalk show by Fashion Meets Music

The fashion show will feature clothes and accessories from Fashion Meets Music designers including Lizbet21 and The Far Away Tree Collection the stunning Annaliese Dayes  from America's Next Top Model will also be taking part in the fashion show, showcasing her sock range.

The fashion show will also showcase work from We Make London designers featured in our Pop up Boutique, including an exclusive sneaky preview of Hatastic Hatastics SS14 collection and Scarfs and Accessories by Boobou Designs

Fashion Meets Music Ltd is a non for profit organization known for producing red carpet events that showcase all emerging forms of creativity in one house on one night, funky fashion shows, exhilarating music performances and live DJ sets.  Events have been held in Los Angeles, Las Vegas, New York and London.

The show on the 7th June will not only be a collaborated showcase of Fashion Meets Music and We Make London designers but will also be a preview of their own pop up at Camden Lock starting the following week.

Throughout the evening there will also be music and a live performance from TORA, a fresh emerging artist.

The evening celebrations will take place from 6.30PM - 8.30PM

We really look forward to seeing you all there and celebrating with everyone that has helped make the last 5 years such fun and those that will possibly work with us in the future.
