Etsy are Coming to Town

We Make are immensely proud that Etsy.com are our main sponsors for our Christmas Craft wonderland.

Etsy is very important to the We Make team, after all its where we all met.

We Make's Mary and Jo have taken time out from our busy schedule this week to chat to EtsyUk's Amity. Read our behind the scenes interview here: http://www.etsy.com/storque/events/uk-events-behind-the-scenes-with-we-make-london-11262/

Etsy will be at the fair on Saturday and boy are you in for a treat.

Amity and George will be handing out some great Etsy promotional items and are ready for a chat too.

They will be running an amazing raffle.

So two important things:

What can you win?

Etsy were so impressed by the sellers at our Christmas Craft Wonderland that they thought you might need some extra money to help you take home your favorite items. So you can win £100 to spend at the fair. You can also win £100 worth of products from moo.com and a lovely bag of goodies from the fantastic artist Rob Ryan

How To Enter:

To enter you will need to purchase a item from any of the participating stalls at the fair. You will then be given a two part ticket. You need to take this to the Etsy stall to enter your ticket. You can enter as many times as you want so the more things you buy at the fair the more times you enter.

Gain Media Exposure With Ellie Tennant

Every designer/ makers dream is to see their beautiful work in a popular magazine.
However, for some people it can be a daunting task. Knowing what information to send, when to send it, what images will be needed is a lot to think about.

At a recent Etsy event I met Ellie Tennant, deputy shopping editor at Ideal Home Magazine and blogger for the award-winning HomeShoppingSpy

Ellie kindly agreed to share her tips on how to gain Media Exposure with us and Etsy.
One of the important things Ellie mention to us was Images.

‘Your Etsy shop is the perfect place to get creative and style some gorgeous lifestyle shots in settings to make your products look lovely, but most journalists will just require a high resolution ‘cut-out’ image of a product’
