About Ruby Red Cosmetics:

Ruby Red is a London organic beauty brand, launched in 2007 by Mike Ruby and Martine Burford, we’re known for using the best organic ingredients, creating great natural aromas and our distinctive packaging.

Looking good isn't about an ingredient list as long as your arm, it's about keeping things simple by being kind to your skin with pure and organic natural body care. That's why none of our products contain synthetic fragrances, artificial colours or animal-derived nasties - just 100% natural organic goodness. Every formulation is freshly made and wrapped at the Ruby Red workshop in North London.

Along with organic ingredients, we only use recyclable or bio degradable packaging. We also believe in only buying fairly traded raw ingredients.

Inspirations:

Inspired by her travels, Martine began sourcing the best organic ingredients and with her experience in fragrance and cosmetics, started mixing natural bath and body care formulations for friends and family.

Our skin loves all things natural; we want to make beauty care simple, using Mother Nature as the only source.

Shea Butter is a natural vegetable moisturiser, from the Shea Nut Tree in Africa. It has been used for centuries to soften, nourish and protect the skin, and works to lock and seal moisture in, preventing evaporation and keeping your skin soft and supple. We buy all the organic Shea Butter we use in our gorgeous products from women’s co-operative in Ghana, helping them develop their business by paying a fair price for their goods.

They’re great for keeping in your handbag and nearby – at work and around your house or perfect for the bathroom, apply after a bath or shower. Great for feet, elbows, front of legs… and you will find that a little goes a l-o-n-g way.
