About Laurafallulah:
I am Laura Harris, I run my company laurafallulah from my home in Blackheath, London. I started making bags as part of my textiles course at university and never stopped. After a few years of working in retail and sewing as a hobby I decided to make my hobby my career. So now I make a range of bags, purses and brooches as well as some other accessories. I have also just recently opened an online shop selling other peoples handmade things too, I believe that UK craft and design is something to celebrate and promote.
Inspirations:
I am constantly inspired by a lot of things such as nature, fashion and vintage design. I also am inspired simply by my love of textiles, different fabrics, patterns and techniques keep me interested in what I do.
Best Seller:
My best seller is also my signature piece, my rose brooch. This is one of the first brooches that I ever made so I love the fact that so many other people love it as much as I do. I also change the colours with every season as well as changing it sometimes, now I also sell a huge version as well as a double and triple bouquet version.
We Make Christmas:
For We Make Christmas I will be bringing my new range of clasp purses and zip purses along with my collection of rose brooches. I will also be showing my range of fabric covered buttons and vintage flower earrings which are always great pick up items at fairs. In conjunction with my new online shop, I will also be bringing along a small selection of items by some fabulous UK designers and crafters.
