Charlotte Macey Designer Feature:

About Charlotte Macey:

Charlotte Macey Textiles officially began last year after graduating in textile design a few years before that. Life took me on a round about route to realising I wanted to pursue the design and creation of my own range of homewares. I started out stitching tea towels, and from these humble beginnings my range has grown significantly. I pour love and care into each item I make, finishing each to the highest standard. My fabrics are sourced locally in the Cotswolds, and I hand make each item individually, so no two of my products will be exactly the same!

Inspirations:

I find inspirations in the ‘everyday’ and the things around me, from trips to the seaside, to the countryside where I live. I love to stitch the things I see, and designed and developed my range in my little countryside studio, with the help of lots of tea and biscuits!

Best Sellers:

My best seller and probably my signature piece would be my beach huts range, which includes two tea towels, a tea cosy, and newly added to the range, cotton napkins! I have been making the ‘beach huts’ tea towels since I began Charlotte Macey Textiles, and they have always been a favourite with my customers.

We Make Summer Fair:

At the Summer Fair I will be selling a range of my pretty homewares and gifts. There will be cupcakes, cosies, beach huts, spots, tea cups, beachy stripes, plus a spot of illustration and lavender thrown into the mix… all perfect for summertime!
