Lush and Lovely Designer Feature

About Lush and Lovely:

After leaving Art School I discovered a real love of making jewellery, which I then sold on Camden Market (before succumbing to the lure of a full time job). Many years later and I’m back to the thing I love the most. All my jewellery is hand made in my home workshop and I love experimenting with new ideas. At the moment my inspirations are comic books, but who knows where I’ll be led next. I work with cabochons, charms and resin to create extremely wearable pieces in small production runs. Come on down and see what delights are in store.

Inspirations:

I get excited by the smallest things– old toys, pop culture, kitsch, carnivals, television and movies are all fertile ground for inspiration. I also regularly look back over my time at Art School where I studied History of Costume – a goldmine of ideas that just keeps giving.

Best Sellers:

Until recently, my charm brooches were the biggest sellers, but at the last We Make my comic book pendants went down a storm – I sold more of those than anything else. Who knows what will sell well next time, that’s the great thing about doing fairs – pleasant surprises!

We Make London:

At We Make Christmas I will be bringing along my new ranges of comic book jewellery in addition to the range that I am currently designing (sorry, can’t give too much away) and a new range of keyrings - ideal as stocking fillers.

Website:

In addition to selling in small boutiques, I also sell on my own website:

And on Folksy, MISI and Etsy, so check me out there.
